Calvin Luo likes to put a spin on a temporal reference。 His collections haveexplored the subcultures of ‘50s-era Americana， the dazzling ‘70s and a “VirginSuicides” tainted ‘90s suburban America。 From these time vignettes alwaysemerges a strong and focused story about a strong and inspirational woman。
Calvin Luo喜欢将时代杂糅与倒置，他过往的系列影射出了上世纪50年代的美国青年亚文化、自由放纵的70年代以及在90年代美国郊外所发生的“Virgin Suicide”事件。当这些时间穿插在一起的时候，最终形成了一个更强有力和有突破的故事，而这些正是在讲述一个强势且鼓舞人心的女性。
His Spring/Summer 2019 collection was seeded by “Les Femmes de l’ombre”， a2008 French movie based on the story of Lise de Baissac。 Lise was an espionageoperative in the SOE （special operations executive） in the end years of the SecondWorld War。 Her codename was Adele。
2019春夏系列设计灵感源于法国电影“Female Agents”。 影片以40年代末作为大背景， 讲述莉丝·德·贝萨在第二次世界大战结束期间从事特工活动（特种作战执行官）以此为电影主线情节，她的代号就是Adele。
Women such as Adele pioneered femininity as a stealth weapon - concealing theirstrength behind their glamorous demeanor.Calvin shows a balanced line up of coats and trench coats， suiting and strong structured shoulder shirting and blouses juxtaposed with lace， feather and rushing details to create his “New Look”。
像Adele这样的女性，她们所代表的气质就像隐形的武器一般锋利，而在她们迷人的魅力之下的，则是其背后被隐匿的坚韧力量。设计师在2019春夏系列中加入了丰富的层次与细节，肩部处强烈结构感的设计，蕾丝与豹纹的运用，羽毛流苏等元素完美诠释属于自己的“New Look”风格。

关于CALVIN LUO
Calvin Luo毕业于Parsons the new school for design。2014年于纽约创立个人时装品牌—CALVIN LUO，并推出了他首个定位中性的产品系列。 Calvin Luo被IMG誉为最年轻的设计师，并由CFDA推荐登上纽约时装周官方日程，成为了纽约时装周历史上最年轻的设计师。他是唯一两次进入WHITNEY MUSEUM发布新系列的中国设计师，也是第六位登上VOGUE RUNWAY的中国设计师。2017年创立中国第一本独立时尚艺术杂志书ROUGE FASHIONBOOK并以媒体人身份入选福布斯中国“UNDER 30”名单。
